Sight Seeing in AZ

We love to find new watering holes in AZ. There are actually several nice sized lakes to be found. We took a family drive up to the mountains and found a beautiful sight of water and rocks, slashed with greenery, always a welcome sight to native Californians!!

Fun with Dad..

At the end of May, Scott took our kiddos to California to give me some much needed rest. They had fun visiting family and friends. They even took in a ball game, went to the beach and ventured all around town. They got to bond and I got to veg. it was wonderful for all.

Our Trip to San Francisco.......

We finally made it up to San Francisco. On our way to this year's family reunion we made a memorable stop. SF is such a fun and energetic city!! We experienced the wild sensation of driving the steep hills, toured the famous Ghiradelle Square for our chocolate fix, walked and drove down Lombard Street, ate on the pier, ventured on the Golden Gate Bridge, took in the ocean, Muir Woods and even a concert. Our family really enjoyed our time there, it is a city full of fun and intrigue!!

Muir Woods: A Piece of Heaven

On our travels through SF we came upon a wonderous piece of tranquility "Muir Woods." The great naturalist John Muir charted and mapped off a little slice of heaven, which boasted of enormous Red Woods, trickling streams, and a world to escape the loud noises of civilization to find rest among nature. The journey through these woods was incredible, it was one to remember!!

Fun at the Fair

We had a blast visiting Northern California. On our last day, Scott took us to the San Rafeal Fair. Creadence Clearwater Revisited was performing that evening. We all swayed to their melodious tunes!! This is the third time our children have seen them in concert, we always catch them at the fair!! The fair adventure brought back fond memories of liberal CA. There were hoilistic hula hooping booths, animal lovers galore, dread locks and a fair full of "kick back" people. Ahhh, memories of home!

Looking Good in Lake Tahoe

It's good to have family in cooler climates!!

We enjoy our home, friends and life here in Arizona, but come Summer and 110 degrees and higher a person needs a little break from Mr. Sunshine, especially a pregnant hormonal lady. Thank goodness for family and friends in CA. We enjoyed visiting with everyone and had tons of fun at the beach, fair and outdoors and in cooler weather!! A big thanks to everyone who housed us, fed us, entertained us and spent time to be with us, WE LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!

Summer Hip Hop Hopper

Over the Summer Emilie took a hip hop class through the city. She loves dancing!! She and some of her classmates got together and performed on the last day of class, she choreographed the dance and led the group. It so much fun to watch her!
